Actor Alaa Arafa has joined the cast of the series Weld we Bent we Shayeb, which combines social and comedic themes. The series consists of only ten episodes and marks the directorial debut of Zeina Abdel Baqi in drama. It stars her father Ashraf Abdel Baqi in their second collaboration after the film Min Yesaddaq?, alongside Laila Ahmed Zaher, Entesar, Nabil Eissa, and Marwan Al-Muslimani.
Alaa Arafa will also resume filming his role in the movie Al-Musayyaf (The Resort), which was temporarily halted due to production circumstances. The film stars Khaled El Sawy, Amr Abdel Jalil, Nesreen Tafesh, Nabil Eissa, Sarah Abdel Rahman, and Ahmed Magid. Written and directed by Selim El Adawi, the story is set in a seaside resort village in the North Coast, where the characters face various social struggles in a human and social context.
It is worth mentioning that Alaa Arafa’s latest work was the film Siko Siko, starring Essam Omar, Taha Desouki, Bassem Samra, and others, directed by
Omar El Mohandes.
